Quinta da Pedra Alta (high stone) is a winery located in Soutelinho Favaios near Alijó, in the Cima Corgo sub-region of the Douro Valley, Portugal.
It is the only vineyard in the Douro to have three granite markers (Marcos Pombalinos) on its property. These were awarded to the best land during the demarcation of the Port region in 1761.
At the moment they produce a range of white, red, and port wines that they consider are the most faithful interpretation of the land. This combination of variation of altitude and exposure to the sun helps to give perfect balance and complexity in their wines.
